Sometimes, being a student with Dyslexia means it takes longer for you to complete assignments and study for exams. Even though this is frustrating and often inconvenient, there are practices you can implement to make your study time more effective.
One thing I do everytime I have a test for any subject is make flash cards. Repetition is the most important thing when it comes to studing. The more you quiz yourself with your flashcards, the more you are going to remember.
Talk to someone about the material. Whether that means you ask your teacher questions or you repeat what you remember from the topic to your friends, talking helps. Dyslexic brains are wired to talk and listen not write and read.
Manage your time. It is easy to wait until the very last minute to study for a test but processing information over a longer period of time is much more effective.
